Liverpool face Chelsea competition for Wolfsburg star Diego.
The People says Reds boss Kenny Dalglish is targeting three players to fill his midfield for next season.
Dalglish has set his sights on Brazil international Diego, who plays for German club Wolfsburg.
The 26-year-old playmaker is available for around £15million, but the Reds face competition from Chelsea.

Wouldn't be impressed if Chelsea got him.. but I'd give him his chance
