Injured Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson believes the Merseyside club have already made strides forward under new manager Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds notched an impressive 4-1 win over pre-round Premier League leaders Manchester City on Saturday to continue their rise up the ladder since Klopp took the reigns from Brendan Rodgers last month.
Henderson is yet to play for Klopp due to a foot injury he suffered in August, but the 25-year-old likes what he has seen from the former Borussia Dortmund boss.
"I thought the lads were outstanding from start to finish [against City]," said Henderson on Sky Sports.
"Hopefully that can set a standard for us for the rest of the season.
"That shows how well we can play and we just need the consistency and to keep playing with the freedom that we did on Saturday.
"The manager has made a big impact and he's been fantastic for Liverpool and for the Premier League.
"Hopefully we can keep learning from him and improving."
