Liverpool are closing on a deal for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Independent says Liverpool have had a bid accepted for Mkhitaryan.

Anfield chiefs have lodged a £15million offer, and Dortmund are happy to sell.

Mkhitaryan has 24 goals and 20 assists in 94 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit, since moving from Shakhtar Donetsk.
