Liverpool are hopeful that the injury suffered by Sheyi Ojo is not a serious one, according to reports from the Liverpool Echo.

Ojo missed Liverpool's final two pre-season matches against Barcelona and Mainz due to a back problem and the winger has been in Merseyside over the past few days to undergo treatment.

The injury is not believed to be a serious one but Liverpool are reportedly waiting anxiously to know about the full extent of the issue for the 19-year-old.
