Liverpool legend Graeme Souness believes that it will be tough for QPR players to bounce back from the morale-sapping defeat to Chelsea on Sunday.
The R's lost the West London derby at Loftus Road to Cesc Fabregas' 88th-minute strike after giving a good account of themselves for the duration of the game.
Souness thinks that it will be tough for QPR boss Chris Ramsey to lift his players after a sixth home defeat on the spin which in turn could force the Hoops back down to the Championship.
"He'll be saying to them right now that if we play like that every game between now and the end of the season, then we'll survive - but that's a blow," said Souness on Sky Sports.
"We're talking about a sixth game they've lost at home now back-to-back. 59 goals conceded and you look at the type of goals they've conceded and that demoralises you, that lowers the confidence throughout the team."
