Luis Garcia says that former teammate Momo Sissoko surprised him with high fitness levels.

Lucho played alongside some top players during his three-year spell with Liverpool and the Spaniard has now revealed that midfielder Sissoko was the fittest player he has ever seen.

Speaking in an interview with LFC TV, Garcia stated that Sissoko always ran around 13 kilometers every game and described the Malian as a 'crazy' player.

Asked how was the fittest, Garcia said: "Momo Sissoko.

"I was surprised by how much he was running. He was running 12 or 13 kilometers every single game, he was a crazy, crazy player."
