Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has had a pop at Everton via Daniel Sturridge's Instagram account.

There have been a lot of suggestions that Sturridge is currently unhappy at Liverpool after the striker was surprisingly not handed a start by manager Jurgen Klopp in the Reds' 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

However, Sturridge has gone on to ridicule claims that he is not happy at Anfield by posting an annoyed looking picture of his face on Instagram with a message "Caption this", as well as a laughing emoji.

Liverpool legend Carragher posted a comment on Sturridge's picture and in the process, has trolled rivals Everton by writing, "When Everton make a bid for you!".

The Merseyside rivalry is ever present in Liverpool and Carragher's classic response is yet another example of the constant jockeying for supremacy in the North West city.
