Liverpool legend Graeme Souness believes that Ryan Giggs will be the man replacing Louis van Gaal at Manchester United.
Following a terrible run of form with United, van Gaal has come under intense scrutiny and many believe that the Dutchman will be swiftly replaced by the recently available Jose Mourinho if results do not improve soon.
However, Souness does not think Mourinho will be replacing van Gaal at United and instead firmly believes that the job will be handed to current assistant manager and Old Trafford great Giggs.
Souness said: "I think the next manager will be Ryan Giggs.
"No matter what happens. It's very hard to say over the next few games that they will not be looking at Van Gaal very closely because the results and the way they are playing has not been good enough.
"I think he is going to be examined during this holiday period by the people who make decisions at United. And whether it's short-term or long-term, I can only see Ryan Giggs taking over."
