Liverpool first-team coach Mike Marsh has confirmed that Pepe Reina and Glen Johnson will miss this week's Capital One Cup meeting with Swansea City.
Goalkeeper Reina has been out of action for the past few Reds matches because of a hamstring strain whilst Johnson missed the Merseyside derby at Everton on Sunday because of a knock and the pair will also sit out tomorrow's meeting with the Swans.
"They're both unavailable for the Swansea game. We'll see where they are after that," he told the club's official website.
