Liverpool are moving for released Bolton Wanderers centre-forward Ivan Klasnic. The Croatia international has been seeking a new club after leaving the Trotters following their relegation last season.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers sees Klasnic as ideal cover for Andy Carroll, after his departure on-loan to West Ham United.

Klasnic has fielded offers from Spain and Germany, but would prefer to remain in England and the Premier League.
