Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers won't enter any auction for Aston Villa striker Darren Bent.
The Mirror says even though Villa will be looking to offload record signing Bent in January, he doesn't fit the Liverpool owners' profile for signings in terms of age - he'll turn 29 on February 6 - and fee.
Newcastle United and QPR are being linked with the England international.
