Tottenham are regarded as favourites to land Hoffenheim winger Gylfi Sigurdsson ahead of Liverpool. The Daily Mail says the Iceland ace, who spent last season on loan at Swansea, could complete his £8million switch to White Hart Lane by the end of the week.
Sigurdsson has agreed personal terms with Spurs, snubbing the chance to work under former Swans chief Brendan Rodgers at Anfield.
Rodgers is said to be furious with Sigurdsson's decision to join Tottenham after holding extensive talks with the 22-year-old.
