Liverpool teen Jack Robinson was delighted with his Premiership debut.
The 16-year-old left-back was overjoyed to appear as a late substitute in the final match of the season at Hull City and has now set his sights on realising his boyhood dream of featuring in a first-team clash at Anfield.
"If I get the chance to play in a league game at Anfield in the next few years, it would just be the best thing ever," he told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"I've played there in the Youth Cup and that was special, but to actually run out in front of a packed Kop would be incredible.
"I've always supported Liverpool and have always seen Steven Gerrard as a bit of a hero, so to be able to say I've played with him is amazing."
"I wasn't on for long at Hull, but I loved every second of it," he continued. "I think I touched it about three times and one was nearly an assist. If Stevie had scored I'd have claimed the pass, even if he had beaten a few and had smashed it in from 25 yards out!"
