Liverpool fullback Alberto Moreno insists teammate Philippe Coutinho is worth the price being touted for his signing.

Barcelona, after failing three times over the summer trying to sign the Brazil international, is expected to try again in January. PSG have also expressed interest in Coutinho, who is rated in the €150m class by Liverpool.

Speaking with Marca, Moreno was asked if the valuation was justified: "If Coutinho is really worth all the money Liverpool asks for him? For me, he's a top, top, top player and in addition he is very young.

"People see him playing, but I see him every day at training and I can say he's doing things I've never seen before. There are times we even ask him: 'How do you manage to do that?'

"I hope he stays close to me all my life."
