Liverpool fullback Glen Johnson is excited about the "passing game" of new gaffer Brendan Rodgers.

Johnson worked with Rodgers at Chelsea.

He told liverpoolfc.com: "I'm really looking forward to it. I was fortunate enough to work with Brendan before. I know the training will be fantastic and after a long break I'm really eager to get back.

"We're going to play a passing game. Brendan has done that everywhere he's gone."
