Liverpool left-back Emiliano Insua says the players are determined to ease the pressure on Rafa Benitez.
The Reds go into today's clash with Manchester United on the back of four consecutive defeats.
Argentina international Insua said: "Liverpool have been affected a great deal by injuries and the last few results, but we have enough players to bounce back.
"We deserved to lose against Fiorentina, but not against Sunderland and Lyon. These last two games have done a lot of damage because we are not used to having a beach ball on the pitch and losing right at the end.
"To play without players such as Torres, Gerrard and Johnson gives a major advantage to our rivals.
"The game against Manchester United comes at the worst possible moment but we have to respond and try to win."
