Liverpool fullback Emiliano Insua is delighted with his move to Galatasaray.

After failing to agree terms with Fiorentina and Genoa, Insua managed to sign on-loan with Gala on deadline day last week.

"I could not say no to Galatasaray, which has a great history and is important in Europe and the world," said Insua.

"I'm sure I can improve here."
