Liverpool fullback Jose Enrique says Luis Suarez's hat-trick has broken the back of his struggles in front of goal.

Suarez hit a treble at Norwich City on Saturday.

"It was an amazing performance from Luis," Enrique told the Liverpool Echo. "I don't think I've ever seen a better hat-trick than that.

"They were all amazing goals - the first with his left foot, the second with his right and then the third was unbelievable from so far out.

"We all know Luis is a very special player for us. He's been really unlucky this season. He's played like that many times and had many chances and deserved a lot more goals.

"I told him after the game that he just needed a little bit of luck. I know he will score many more goals here in the Premier League."
