Liverpool fullback Jose Enrique admits it's an honour to play in front of the Kop.
The Spaniard experienced Anfield as a home team player for the first time against Sunderland and felt the backing of his new fans lifted him both spiritually and physically.
"If you are a football person, you can't help being affected by Anfield," Enrique told LFC magazine.
"When you experience 'You'll Never Walk Alone' for the first time as a Liverpool player, you stand there and feel proud...it makes you feel stronger.
"The atmosphere here is very different to Spain because all of the stadiums here are full, always. When Spanish people come to Anfield for the first time, they are amazed because of the Kop...because of the singing."
