Liverpool defender Jose Enrique was delighted for Jordan Henderson over his England call.
The 22-year-old has earned himself an England recall on the back of a number of good performances this season.
"Jordan is a hard worker and has been doing really well in training and now he is getting the results," said the Spaniard.
"He is working hard and that is why he is playing. Like everyone when you arrive here - even me - you improve as a player.
"If you don't improve in a few years it is a problem because when you play with these type of players you should improve every year, even if you don't want to.
"He is still young, you can't forget that, he is 22 and he is playing fantastically.
"He had the assist for Luis and I think he is doing really well and I hope he stays like this because it will be good for the team."
