Liverpool fee for RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita now settled

Liverpool's fee for RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita has been settled.

The Liverpool Echo says Liverpool will pay around £52.75million for Keita after RB Leipzig qualified for the Europa League.

The Guinea international signed off in style as he played the opening 76 minutes of their 6-2 demolition of Hertha Berlin on the final day of the Bundesliga season.

Under the terms of the deal Liverpool struck last summer, the fee was dependent on Leipzig's finishing position.

Their sixth placed finish, which secured a Europa League spot, means that the Reds will have to shell out £52.75million.
