Sheyi Ojo could be sidelined for around a month with a stress fracture in his back.

The Liverpool winger suffered the injury during the club's pre-season tour of the USA with recent scans revealing it is much worse than was initially thought.

The Liverpool Echo is reporting that Ojo, 19, could be out of action until at least mid-September as he strives to recover from the small fracture.

It is understood that heavy workload over the summer has contributed to Ojo's injury which is a major blow considering the form he showed in the early pre-season matches for Jurgen Klopp.
