Liverpool fear the FA will hit Luis Suarez with a ten match ban for his biting incident against Chelsea.
The Daily Star says the Reds insist he will NOT be sold, despite dragging the club's name through the gutter yet again.
Suarez was last night charged with violent conduct by the FA, who will appoint will now be offered anger management counselling by the professional Footballers' Association.
But the Reds fear the 26-year-old will end up with an even longer ban than the eight-game suspension he copped for racially abusing Patrice Evra in 2011.
That would rule him out of the rest of this campaign and the start of the next.
