Liverpool are favoured to see off a challenge from Celtic in order to sign Danny Ings from Burnley.
The 21-year old has netted 10 goals in the Championship so far this season and is attracting interest from both the Reds and the Hoops.
Despite Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers reportedly saying the Anfield club aren't after Ings, the Sunday People suggest that the Merseysiders will make a play for him in January.
