Liverpool fans unhappy with Moores

Liverpool fans daubed obscene slogans on Tuesday morning on the walls of the club's Melwood training ground attacking former chairman David Moores.

Moores, who sold his controlling stake in Liverpool to American tycoons George Gillett and Tom Hicks in a deal worth £470 million in February last year, was denounced as "greedy".

The slogans also called on manager Rafa Benitez not to select winger Harry Kewell and midfielder John Arne Riise for tonight's crucial Champions League encounter with Inter Milan at Anfield.

They also demanded that Benitez, who has made a habit of rotating his players from match to match, should play his best team for tonight's European clash.

Club staff responded quickly by painting out the slogans, reports the Daily Mail.
