Despite all the reports of Luis Suarez wanting out of Liverpool this summer the Reds fans made their feelings plain when the Uruguayan came on as substitute for Steven Gerard's testimonial at Anfield against Olympiacos. The players was cheered as he warned up on the touchline and was subjected to prolong chanting when he finally came on the pitch.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers felt Suarez was humbled by the reception and it showed the class of Liverpool supporters who rally round one of their own.
As to the future of Suarez, Rodgers simply reiterated that Liverpool did not want to sell the forward and had only received two offers from the same club for his services and they were nowhere near Liverpool`s valuation.
When pressed Rodgers did admit every player has his price but the club are looking to build and the owners are determined to plan for the future with top players.
