Manchester United have reduced the number of tickets for Liverpool fans ahead of the February 11 meeting at Old Trafford.
United have slashed the away allocation from 3,100 to 2,100 which has been deemed 'necessary' by a club spokesman.
"This was considered necessary to allow for additional stewarding and segregation plans," said the spokesman.
The move comes after Liverpool lowered the amount of tickets for United fans for the past two Anfield meetings between the clubs.
