Liverpool fans have sent a petition to Norwich City defender Tom Adeyemi over his alleged race abuse at Anfield.

The on-loan Oldham player, 20, was the target of vile chants at Anfield during an FA Cup tie.

Adeyemi was reduced to tears and had to be consoled by players from both sides.

He has also received other messages of support from all over the country and said: "It is brilliant that so many are supporting me."
