Liverpool fans have gone made for new manager Roy Hodgson.
The club's website posted a record day of traffic for the appointment of the former Fulham boss.
The official announcement at 9.14am on Thursday morning sparked the start of a busy day as Liverpool's website published 21 news stories and 13 exclusive videos documenting another momentous day in the history of the club.
By the end of the day they had served over 2.8 million page impressions - beating a previous best by just under 300,000 - and over 120,000 videos were viewed, including more than 50,000 views of their exclusive first interview with the new Liverpool manager.
