Liverpool fans have been given a boost before transfer deadline day after a 'club car' was spotted picking up a passenger at John Lennon Airport in Liverpool.

Virgil van Dijk has been a target for the Reds all summer and the Dutchman has gone as far as being exiled from the Southampton playing group as he tries to force a move to Anfield.

And now fan Dean Coombes has tweeted a picture accompanied by the caption: "So the private jet from Bournemouth has just landed at Liverpool Airport and looks like one of the club cars just picked someone up."

He then followed up with another tweet.

Got told just like MONDAY that there should be at least one medical complete tomorrow for us. No idea who though and could always be wrong

Bournemouth is half an hour away from Southampton and although the car may seem generic, it looks pretty similar to same car that picked up Jurgen Klopp and Mohamad Salah from the airport.

This could all be nothing Liverpool fans or it could be the arrival of a brand new signing, we'll know for sure by Thursday.
