The race for Genoa defender Andreas Granqvist is heating up.

The Sweden international is prepared to listen to offers ahead of the January market and is aware of interest from England, where Liverpool and Newcastle United are keen.

However, Zenit St Petersburg are also interested in Granqvist and his camp have invited all parties to make their offers next week ahead of the opening of the winter transfer window on January 1.
