The race for Udinese midfielder Mauricio Isla is heating up.
Liverpool are in contact with Udinese about a £12 million end of season deal for Isla.
However, with news now breaking of the Reds' bid, Inter Milan have made a counter approach.
Inter chief Marco Branca was in talks with Udinese earlier this week, urging them not to agree anything with Liverpool until they'd heard their offer.
