Liverpool face competition from Real Madrid for Borussia Dortmund youngster Christian Pulisic.
The Daily Mail says the Reds face competition from Manchester City and Real Madrid in their pursuit of Pulisic.
The 17-year-old, who hails from Hershey, Pennsylvania, became the youngest player in Bundesliga history to score two goals following his strike against Stuttgart at the weekend.
Pulisic was already the youngest non-German to score in the Bundesliga after his goal against Hamburg earlier this month at the age of 17 years and 219 days.
His performances have been noted by New York City sporting director Claudio Reyna who in turn is understood to have alerted Manchester City.
