Liverpool may be forced to pay more than expected to close the signing of RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita.
RBL rejected a £66million offer from the Reds last summer, but BILD says that is the figure the Merseysiders could end up paying in 2018.
It's stated that the Reds will pay certain figures dependent on where Leipzig finish in the Bundesliga this term.
If they don't finish in a European spot, Liverpool will hand over £57million. If the German upstarts finish in a Europa League spot, that figure rises to £62m and if they make the top four for the second year running and return to the Champions League, then Liverpool will hand over £66million.
It is also reckoned that RBL negotiated themselves a clause in Keita's deal, which will see themselves handed a share of any profit Liverpool make if they sell the Guinea international in the future.
