Swansea City face a battle to keep hold of defender Ashley Williams beyond the January transfer window.

Sky Sports says the likes of Liverpool, who are now bossed by former Swans manager Brendan Rodgers, and Newcastle United are believed to be long-time admirers of Williams.

A number of other sides are also weighing up the merits of an approach when the transfer window re-opens.
