Liverpool are eyeing Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic.

Revier Sport says the 27-year-old defender was one of Jurgen Klopp's first signings when he took charge of Dortmund in 2008.

Klopp, now manager of Liverpool of course, is still a huge admirer of Subotic and is keen on bringing him to Anfield this summer.

The Serbian centre-back is under contract until the summer of 2018 but is eager to secure more regular first-team action either at Dortmund or elsewhere.

Subotic has made just 11 appearances for Thomas Tuchel's side this summer.
