Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson is ready to raid the Portuguese transfer market again to boost his midfield.

After the relative success of former Porto star Raul Meireles, the Daily Star Sunday says Benfica wing-back Fabio Coentrao is in Hodgson's sights.

A January move is under consideration, with Hodgson having £30 million to splash out with.
