Liverpool and Everton are watching Uruguayan youngster Gustavo Viera.

Viera is tied to Liverpool of Uruguay.

The Sun says Everton are the latest club in the race for the 16-year-old, who has been playing for his country's Under-17 national side.

Spanish giants Barcelona have also watched the teenager in Montevideo and have been alerted to him having a European passport.

Viera's Italian paperwork will make it easier for him to move over from Uruguay following comparisons to Brazilian striker Adriano when he first travelled over to Inter Milan.
