French midfielder Soualiho Meite is a target for Liverpool and Everton.

The 22-year-old joined French side Lille from Auxerre back in 2013.

But he's only made 30 league appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit and was sent on loan to S.V. Zulte Waregem this summer.

The Sunday Mirror says Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Everton lead the race to secure Meite's services.

And fellow Premier League side West Ham are said to be keeping tabs on the £6m-rated midfielder too.

The English trio are not the only teams eyeing up the two-time France Under-20 international, however.
