Bristol City striker Nicky Maynard is attracting Premier League interest.

Fit-again Maynard, 24, is regarded as among the best attacking talents outside the Premier League. The News of the World says Everton and Liverpool will join the summer chase for Maynard, who is now rated at £10 million by Bristol City.

Maynard began his footballing career as a youth trainee at Crewe Alexandra's academy, famous for producing the attacking talents of David Platt, Rob Hulse and Dean Ashton, at the age of seven.
