Liverpool are closing in on a deal for Lille striker Divock Origi.

The Daily Star says the Belgian star will become a Reds player and then be immediately loaned back to current club Lille to ensure he gets regular top-class, first team football.

But, that could be subject to change as the Reds may feel they need cover in the wake of Luis Suarez's four-month ban.

Origi has caught the eye coming off the bench for Belgium during the World Cup.
