Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani is ready to sign permanently for AC Milan.
The Daily Express says Aquilani is set to finally sever his ties with Liverpool and end an ill-fated association by handing the Anfield club a £6million boost.
Italian midfielder Aquilani has spent the season on loan at AC Milan, where a clause in his contract triggering a permanent transfer to the Serie A leaders will kick in after 25 appearances.
Aquilani is due to reach that threshold against his first club, AS Roma, tomorrow with his move then a matter to be rubber-stamped between Liverpool and Milan.
