Liverpool are desperate to dump on-loan Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin.
The Mirror says Liverpool want to send Sahin back to the Bernabeu early because he has lost his first-team place after making a bright start to his Anfield career.
The Reds beat Arsenal to the Turkey midfielder's signing in August because they were prepared to cover a sizeable chunk of his £115,000-a-week salary.
Liverpool are keen to reduce their outgoings and feel it makes sense to get Sahin off their wage bill if Brendan Rodgers feels he no longer needs him.
