Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom is in loan talks with Wigan Athletic.
The Mirror says Wisdom is in talks with Owen Coyle's Wigan about a loan move - after Brendan Rodgers cleared his exit.
England Under-21 defender Wisdom is wanted by Coyle as part of the Latics' push for promotion back to the Premier League amid a massive fixture list of 46 Championship game and Europa League group-phase play.
Coyle has been trailing Wisdom for weeks but Rodgers has only given the move a green light after lining up new defenders for the Anfield giants.
