Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom hopes to see action against Capital One Cup opponents Manchester United tonight.

The 20-year-old played the full 90 minutes when Liverpool were beaten 2-1 on the same ground last season.

"It's a bit surreal, to be honest," Wisdom told Liverpoolfc.com. "Playing at Old Trafford last season, it's like you're in a bubble; there are 75,000 fans. It's a good experience.

"You've just got to go there, apply yourself, prepare well for it, give all that you can and come off with no regrets - thinking maybe I should have done that or this.

"Leave everything that you have on the pitch and hopefully it will be the good side. We're prepared to defend because Manchester United are a good team."
