Mamadou Sakho has handed a timely defensive boost for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool were dealt a blow recently after it was revealed that defender Dejan Lovren would be ruled out for at least a month following a knee injury suffered during the clash against West Bromwich Albion last weekend.
As a timely boost though, Sakho has returned to training from the knee injury that has kept him out since early November and could be available to slot in for Lovren for the upcoming busy festive period.
However, it has also been suggested that Italian club AS Roma are keen on Sakho who has appeared 11 times for the Reds this season.
