Jack Hobbs admits Leicester's desire to sign him permanently after a season long loan deal from Liverpool ends, has boosted his confidence. "If you are suggesting I might be interested in bringing him here, that would be right," said Foxes boss Nigel Pearson.

Hobbs told the Leicester Mercury: "What he said was a great confidence-booster and I'm very happy here.

"I feel I've really grown as a player this season and it's really benefited me."
