Liverpool defender Connor Randall is in talks with Barnsley.

The Daily Mail says Randall is in talks to join Championship side Barnsley on loan.

The 21-year-old right-back made his first start of the season in Liverpool's FA Cup defeat to Wolves on Saturday, he was replaced at half time.

Barnsley want a replacement for James Bree who joined Aston Villa last week.

Randall was born and raised in Liverpool but has so far failed to break into Jurgen Klopp's side with any regularity.
