Liverpool defender Dan Agger is expected to make Sunday's clash with Manchester City.
The Liverpool Echo says Agger missed Sunday's 2-1 win at West Ham United after sustaining a knock to his knee, but will return to training with the rest of his team-mates at Melwood today, and should be available for selection for the weekend's game.
His return, though, would give Rodgers a decision to make in terms of team selection. Mamadou Sakho, making his first start since December, impressed alongside Martin Skrtel at West Ham, with both centre-backs earning praise from their manager after the match.
