Liverpool are performing a cull of their under-23 squad as they prepare to add a new talent.

TheLiverpool Echo is reporting that Liverpool are letting go of three players from the squad: Paulo Alves, Toni Gomes and Mich'el Parker.

But there is an incoming, with Chelsea youngster Isaac Christie-Davies being linked.

Christie-Davies is out of contract at Chelsea and will sign a deal with the Reds instead. He is a double FA Youth Cup winner with Chelsea.
